How To See The “Kenya” Blurb

by Eric M. Blake May 21st, 2012 | Conservative Considerations, Presidential Election, Republican Reflections
People have often asked me what I think about the “birther” issue.  You know … the idea that Barack Obama wasn’t born in the U.S. — it was “really” Kenya, or something.  Someone—I won’t specify who—keeps saying, whenever I mention Obama’s birthplace in Hawaii, “You … mean he wasn’t born in Kenya?”  They ask so many times, I can’t help but wonder if they’re just joking.  Doesn’t sound like it, but …

Look.  The “birther” thing first kicked off due to the Hillary campaign.  Let’s face it, folks — the Clintons wanted to be back in the White House.  They did not like how

A Gay Winners and Losers

by Ronald A. Rowe May 16th, 2012 | Political Opinions, Winners & Losers
This week’s biggest political kerfuffle was all about gay rights. While other issues did pitch a tent here and there across the political landscape, gay rights inadvertently built a massive structure that dominated the week. So, in the vein of our recent topic-specific Winners and Losers columns, Camp Campaign proudly presents the Gay Pride Winners and Losers of the week.

Another Presidential Distraction

by T Akery May 15th, 2012 | Presidential Election, Presidential News

Wooly Bully

by Eric M. Blake May 14th, 2012 | Conservative Considerations, Presidential Election, Republican Reflections
What a week.  Joe Biden gives a gaffe, which threatens to derail the schedule of the Obama campaign’s agenda.  Yes, I know … what else is new?  I mean, really — how on Earth has this guy kept his office for so long?  With all the crazy blunder’s he’s made — even before the ’08 election — what the heck were they thinking?

You know, I get such a kick out of all the pundits — and fellow college students! — who swear with a straight face that Joe Biden is actually “very smart.”  See … unlike Sarah Palin and

Gagnants et Perdants

by Ronald A. Rowe May 9th, 2012 | Winners & Losers
President Obama officially launched his re-election campaign this week. Across the pond, as the snooty people like to refer to Europe, France has already wrapped up their presidential elections. Who were the Winners and the Losers in that contest?

WINNERS:
Francois Hollande
It's kind of obvious, but a review of the Winners wouldn't be complete without mentioning newly- elected French President Francois Hollande. I mean, he WON the election. Enough said.

Socialism
We don't usually give out awards to 'isms, but Socialism certainly deserves a shoutout now that France is officially in the control of a Socialist. Not that it is anything all
