Electoral Roll:
The electoral roll is the list of registered voters in the UK. The electoral roll is used by business and individuals to find and trace customer identities for the purposes of fraud prevention or simply to find someone they are looking for. The 2004 electoral roll included 32 million names. Note that the electoral roll is not a complete record of the adult population of the UK; over 25% of the population has opted out of the electoral roll.
