The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee raised $3 million at the event. The Internal Revenue Service is collecting documents from 88 of their employees in their investigation into improper behavior in 2010-2011 which targeted conservative and Tea Party groups.

President Obama – Loser – The week began with continued inquiries surrounding the actions of the Internal Revenue Service under his watch. It ended with Representative Darrell Issa (R-OH) stating on CNN that the order to deter conservative groups from being award non-profit status came “from Washington.”

President Obama had another tough week, as he continued to get hammered by conservative groups over a series of issues from the attacks in Benghazi to the way that conservative groups were treated by the IRS.

It was revealed last week that the IRS was purposely selectively scrutinizing records of conservative and Tea Party groups. Is it 2016 Already?

The calendar may read 2013, but politicians from both major parties are already gearing up for the next election: No, not 2014 – 2016. Last week saw visits to key primary states from Joe Biden, Ted Cruz, Rick Santorum, Rand Paul and others. Although no candidate is close to declaring his or her intention to run for the presidency yet, these leaders are laying groundwork that would be vital to such a run.
