Students & Politics

by Michele October 21st, 2009 | Political Opinions
As the legal voting age in America is eighteen, many adolescents and young adults become politically active following that birthday.  Maybe you take up a cause, support a candidate, or simply vote.

To glimpse into one such perspective from that age bracket, check out this video of a college student and his thoughts on politics.

The Nobel Prize

by Ronald A. Rowe October 13th, 2009 | General Politics, Political Humor, Political Opinions
Camp Campaign has procured an exclusive transcript of the deliberations between Hans Dorfenshalter and Heinrich Waldendoof, two members of the Nobel Prize selection committee. This conversation, secretly recorded and painstakingly transcribed, details some of the heretofore unknown thought process that goes into selecting an individual for the prestigious Nobel Prize.

HANS: Heinrich, are you enjoying the illegal drugs and prostitutes that were provided for us?

HEINRICH: Oh, yes, Hans. I am.

Thought you were opposed to a health care plan that will cost trillions?  WRONG!  You're just a racist.  Thought you were against activist judges on the Supreme Court?  THINK AGAIN!  You just can't stand

The Ex Green Czar

by Ronald A. Rowe September 10th, 2009 | General Politics, Political Opinions, Presidential News
Van Jones is now officially the "Ex-Green Czar" of the United States of America. Jones resigned today in what may be the snippiest and most ungracious resignation speech ever given.

The White House says that Jones was going to "get in the way" of Benevolent Ruler Obama's plans. Jones says that he was the target of a "vicious smear campaign". So, why did ol' Van get the ax?

The short answer is: the Internet.

The somewhat longer answer is that Jones has a long history of doing the sort of things that most American's don't much like, and somebody uncovered
