Under the circumstances, the pro-life movement has been extremely forgiving. No spokesman for that cause—at least, no one with any credibility—ever advocates death penalties. Good thing, too: after all, as far as we’re concerned, those would-be mothers are tragically misguided and deceived. As such, we don’t demand that they be “punished”, like criminals. And yet…that’s now being held up as an example of how hypocritical we “religious-nut-job-marionettes” allegedly are? Amazing….
Okay. Fortunately, there are no GOP debates this week—freeing me to discuss this issue. Let’s look at this in a reasoned, rational manner…and address four common arguments of those who
More Losers than Winners this Week

Congress, Political Polls, Winners & Losers
Hmmmm. There were a lot more nominations for losers than winners this week. I wonder if that says more about the disposition of our panel of experts or the state of politics this week. You be the judge.
WINNERS:
Barack Obama –
The President had nothing directly to do with the death of Muammar Gaddafi, but it happened under his watch. That’s two major enemies of the United States of America killed in a short period of time, which is all good for the sitting president. Conservative Considerations, Political Opinions, Republican Reflections
Here it is: the good, the bad, and the ugly. And believe me…in this CNN Las Vegas debate, with Anderson Cooper (who dismissed the audience’s first question, changing it to an attack-Cain question) moderating—things got ugly!
A little note: Jon Huntsman was noticeably absent, apparently in protest over the big “move-up” of the early primaries. Ron Paul, in the meantime, loves the “move-up”—gloating to FOX’s Neil Cavuto that the Ron-Paul-Revolutionaries, at least, are sure to put aside the holiday season and continue getting out the vote. (The worst part: I believe him. Let’s hope the Herminators are just as eager….)
